Since making the album 'Progressions' from an evening's session of music in late 2017 I'd wanted to make a sequel by the same means, again from a single session. Starting in the evening and working through to the small hours I recorded a few hours of material, the best of which features here. I wish you happy listening!


'Friend and collaborator Jim Tetlow, with whom I was half of Tetlow and Broadhurst on 19 albums - offered me as a poet, an unmissable collaboration of constructing 10 lines as titles for a solo project of his. Ten lines that would function independently as One Line poetic moments - and together form an 11th poem that could stand alone. I have never done anything like it, to that degree before. He also said the title of the works must be that of his album 'Progressions' and each line to Progress. I like a challenge, so here we are. I hadn't heard the music before I wrote the piece - nor he the titles before his composition. We meshed together in his final work. An interesting and unique concept.'
