about

This album rounds up a collection of various pieces originating from the period 2001-2003...

'Sloth and Swarm' was first published on the Auricle Music compilation '¿dronsz?' released in 2004.

'Zingzwei' and 'Fornax in Void' were intended for my album 'Heart of Glass' but replaced by other pieces more in keeping with that album's unifying aesthetic. For this release they have been developed further than the original analogue recordings. They use themes dating back to 1995 and 1991 respectively.

'Post-Melange' is a piece from December 2014 which uses as its basis the rhythmic content of the final unused section of my ambient piece 'Melange' (on the album 'Shrouds').

'Yenstretch' is a remix of material from 'Yen Spans Ruins' from the album 'Oneiromancer'.

'Feedback Machine' and 'I Don't Know Myself' are live solo improvisations recorded at Endgame gigs upstairs at The Victory, Aylestone Road, Leicester, 2001. Sonically in the vein of the 'Heart of Glass' album, they were first published on the Endgame 'Live Vol. III' and 'Live Vol. IV' albums available on Auricle Music.
