about

For my album Oneiromancer I placed a restriction upon myself: no instruments, at least not conventional ones (only my voiced, heavily processed, was allowed). One piece, Born of Nil, utilised a source tape of four layers of the "no input mixing board" type of feedback, from which I recorded three different mixes overdubbed with three improvisations for a contact-miked metal sculpture, everything going through a spacious stereo delay.

I used version #2 for Oneiromancer, which was issued on CDR by Auricle Music.

But, recently rediscovering old digital transfers of the material, I figured: in the age of digital downloads on Bandcamp, why not simply release all three together?
